What's Wrong?

In the Claude desktop app sidebar, Cowork sessions that have already finished their turn keep the orange (clay, animated) "working" dot. When the session finishes, the dot does not change to the blue "needs you" dot. It only updates after I click into the session, and the transcript then shows the turn ended earlier.

With about 16 Cowork sessions running in parallel, all 16 rows showed the identical orange working dot at the same moment, although most had already finished and were waiting for me. The sidebar can no longer be used to see which sessions need me.

What Should Happen?

When a session's turn ends, its sidebar dot should switch from the orange working dot to the blue dot (finished and unread, or waiting for my input) in real time, without opening the session.

Error Messages/Logs

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start several Cowork tasks (cloud sessions that also use this Mac through the computer link).
  2. While they run, stay on another session in the same window.
  3. Let one of them finish its turn (final message delivered).
  4. Its sidebar row keeps the orange working dot and never turns blue.
  5. Click into it: the transcript shows the turn finished earlier; only now does the dot update.

Workaround: quitting and reopening the app resyncs all dots (same workaround as #74845).
