Request: An opt-in setting that lets users permanently pre-approve specific apps for computer use, so the per-app, per-session approval dialog doesn't appear every time.

Current behavior: Computer-use app access is approved per app, per session. Running in bypass permissions mode doesn't change this. Each new session re-prompts for apps already approved before (e.g. Finder, ChatGPT, third-party apps).

Why: It's the user's own machine, and they should be able to decide how much to trust the agent. Repeated prompts add friction for people who have already made that decision. A persistent allowlist (manageable and revocable in Settings) would keep the choice explicit while removing the repetition.

Suggested shape:

  • A per-app "Always allow" option in the approval dialog, stored locally.
  • A Settings list to review and revoke trusted apps.
  • Browsers and other restricted tiers stay at their current tier regardless.

Filed on behalf of the user from a Claude Code session.
