Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

In fullscreen mode, a docked pane (here, one opened by a mod via $.ui.open) can be resized by dragging its edge with the mouse, but the mouse pointer never changes when hovering that edge. Nothing tells the user the edge is draggable, so the resize is only found by accident.

What Should Happen?

While the pointer is over a draggable pane edge (and while dragging), Claude Code should ask the terminal for a resize pointer, e.g. ew-resize/col-resize, through the OSC 22 pointer-shape sequence (ESC ] 22 ; ew-resize ST), and restore the default shape when the pointer leaves. Terminals that support OSC 22 include Ghostty, kitty and foot; others ignore it, so it's safe to send.

Error Messages/Logs

None.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Run Claude Code in fullscreen mode in Ghostty (or kitty/foot), wide enough for a docked pane.
  2. Open a pane, e.g. a mod that calls $.ui.open({ id, title }).
  3. Hover the pane's border next to the transcript: the pointer stays the default arrow/I-beam.
  4. Drag that border: the pane resizes, confirming the edge is interactive.

Claude Model

Not model-specific.

Is this a regression?

I don't know.
