Claude in Chrome: „Allow all actions on <site> for this session“ hält nicht, jede Aktion fragt erneut

Environment
- macOS 26.6.2
- Claude Code 2.1.280
- Chrome 154.0.8037.98, Claude extension 1.0.99 (fcoeoabgfenejglbffodgkkbkcdhcgfn)
- Claude Desktop also installed
- permissions.allow contains
mcp__claude-in-chrome__*; auto mode disabled
What happens
Choosing option 2 "Allow all actions on <site> for this session" does not persist.
The very next single browser action on the same site (e.g. a screenshot, sent alone,
not in parallel) shows the same site permission prompt again.
Reproduced with
- Claude Code running inside tmux and in a plain iTerm2 tab (no tmux)
- native host of Claude Desktop and native host of Claude Code
(repointed com.anthropic.claude_browser_extension.json for the test, Chrome restarted)
- Claude Desktop quit, Chrome restarted
Expected
After option 2, no further prompts for that site in the same session.
Notes
This used to work until roughly early October 2026. Claude Code version did not change
in that period; the extension may have updated.
