[GitHub integration] does not work

SETUP (per Settings > Connectors > GitHub Integration)

• GitHub account connected: yes
• Claude GitHub App: installed on "sikala" (Personal), labeled "Cloud sessions only"
• Check repository status: "Claude Code cloud sessions can work in sikala/project-hub-foundations"

WHAT I TRIED

1. Pasted https://github.com/sikala/project-hub-foundations/tree/main into chat.

Result: fetch failed with ROBOTS_DISALLOWED ("Site disallows automated access").

1. Pasted https://github.com/sikala/project-hub-foundations.git

Result: same ROBOTS_DISALLOWED error.

1. Used the + (attach) button in the chat composer to attach files from the repo.

Result: no repo files arrived in the conversation. Claude only received a screenshot I uploaded separately. (Unclear whether the GitHub option was missing or failed silently.)

1. Claude searched its available tools for GitHub-related tools in this chat: none found.

EXPECTED
The connector page says Chat can "attach files directly from a repo." I expected Claude to be able to read the repo contents after connecting.

ACTUAL
Claude in chat has no way to read the repo. The only working path appears to be Claude Code on the web, which requires a paid plan, and this is not clear from the connector page.

REQUEST

• Clarify on the connector page that the GitHub App is limited to Claude Code cloud sessions, and which plans can use each feature.
• Investigate why attaching repo files via the + menu did not deliver files to the chat.

I was trying to connect to my repo for a review thats it. not code just a general whats it up to and going on It cannot connect
