Summary

When a Claude Code CLI session is being driven through Remote Control from the Claude mobile app, a computer-use request_access call ("Request Full Control") shows up in the app as a tool card stuck on "Running…". The app gives no Allow / Deny controls. The approval prompt only appears in the terminal on the Mac, so a user who is away from the computer cannot grant it. The session stays blocked until someone gets back to the machine or interrupts the turn.

Steps to reproduce

Start a Claude Code CLI session on macOS with the computer-use MCP enabled, and connect it to Remote Control.
Leave the computer and keep driving the session from the Claude iOS app.
Ask for a task that needs computer use (for example, clicking and Cmd-clicking items in a native Mac app).
Claude calls mcp__computer-use__request_access.

Expected

The mobile app shows the access request with the requested apps, their tier, and the reason, plus Allow / Deny buttons, the same way it already handles regular tool permission prompts. Approving from the phone resolves the call and the session continues.

Actual

The app shows a "Request Full Control" sheet with Output: Running… and only a close (X) button. You can't approve or deny it from the app. The session blocks indefinitely.

Why it matters

Remote Control exists for driving long sessions while you're away from the desk, and computer-use QA steps are exactly what those sessions hit. Right now one access request ends a remote session.

Suggested fix

Relay computer-use request_access approvals (apps, tier, reason, clipboard flags) to Remote Control clients with Allow / Deny actions.
As a fallback, when no local approver is present, return a denial to the model right away (for example "user is remote; access cannot be granted") so it can switch to another approach instead of hanging.
