What's Wrong?

In the Claude desktop app on macOS (Code tab), my local Claude Code sessions still appear in the sidebar ("Charles_multiagent", "Charles_multiagent (fork)", "MCP learning project"), but when I open any of them the conversation is completely blank and a loading spinner never finishes. These sessions previously showed their full history and I did not delete them. Cloud sessions load fine.

What Should Happen?

Opening a local session should load and display its full conversation history, as it did before.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the Claude desktop app on macOS and switch to the Code tab.
2. In the sidebar, under the "charles-multiagent" project, click a local session (laptop icon), e.g. "Charles_multiagent (fork)" or "Charles_multiagent". Same happens with "MCP learning project".
3. The session opens but the conversation area is completely blank, and a loading spinner in the bottom-right never finishes.
4. Quitting and reopening the app does not fix it.

Note: These sessions previously displayed their full history. I did not delete them. Cloud sessions in the same app load normally. No error message is shown.
