Bug Description
recently when in /foo/bar and the model wants to read/search /foo/bar/baz/foobar.txt it'll do stuff like cd foo/bar/baz && grep pattern foobar.txt instead of simply doing grep pattern baz/foobar.txt. the later doesn't require permissions prompts with what i've allowed, the former does. this has made claude code absolutely infuriating to use.
