Desktop app Files and Diff panes do not refresh when Claude edits a file

Description

In the Claude desktop app (Code tab), the Files pane keeps showing the previous contents after Claude writes to a file (observed with a Bash heredoc and a python rewrite; also seen with the Edit tool). The pane only picks up the change after closing and reopening the file. The Diff pane sometimes has the same problem.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open a file in the Files pane.
2. Ask Claude to rewrite or edit that file.
3. Observe the pane still shows the old version.
4. Close and reopen the file: the new version appears.

Expected

The Files and Diff panes refresh when the file changes on disk.
