[BUG] EnterWorktree name= fails: "Could not read the repository git config to neutralize filter drivers"

What happened

EnterWorktree with name: "kernels-2026-09-30" failed twice with:

Could not read the repository git config to neutralize filter drivers

I expected it to create a worktree under .claude/worktrees/.

This workaround worked: git worktree add .claude/worktrees/<name> -b <name> origin/main, then EnterWorktree with path:.

Environment

• Claude Code 2.1.285
• macOS (Darwin 25.6.0), Apple Silicon

Repo state

• .git/config is a plain 410-byte file, mode 0644, with the standard com.apple.provenance xattr.
• No filter.* or include entries in the local, global or system gitconfig.
• git config --list --show-origin reads all three config files without errors.
• No permission deny rules or sandbox config in Claude Code settings.
• The first call was made with the session cwd in a subdirectory of the repo. The retry was made from the repo root. Both failed.

The session had no --debug log, so the underlying exception was not captured.
