[feedback] guard-set-delta: A refactor moved safety-critical halt code behind facades;
Context. Solo-operator project using Claude Code (desktop app, Windows 11) with a lead session on Claude Fable 5.1 orchestrating Opus 5.5 / Sonnet subagents (worktree-isolated), a JSON task store, PreToolUse/SubagentStop hooks and a harvest-train commit flow. This finding was measured on or before 2026-09-22 and filed on 2026-09-28 at the operator's request; numbers are from tool output. No secrets, identities or private paths.
Class / model / severity. guard-set-delta / all (design-level) / HIGH
Finding. A refactor moved safety-critical halt code behind facades; five commit-time guards stayed keyed to the facade paths; the census that shows it is a script no gate runs (8 -> 21 uncounted); the import-linter evaluated zero contracts for two hours after a stale entry. All green.
Evidence (measured). judge-rh-r2-seat1 F1, seat2 NEW-1 + follow-up; boards #1259 #1216 #1256.
Minimal reproduction. Move a guarded file behind a shim and ask the model whether the guards still cover it.
Ask. At a move of guarded code, compute the guard-set delta; a gate error is UNKNOWN never pass; register counts, not mappings.
