[BUG] Opened `.md` in formatted view: text is selectable but "copy" only copies the file/path, not the selection

What's Wrong?

In the Claude desktop app, when a session .md file is opened from chat (Claude Code) and shown in formatted (rendered) view, copy operations are overridden — they copy the file or its path instead of the selected text. You can select text in the view, but copying it does nothing useful. Against standard Windows UI behavior, selectable text is not copyable.

This is not same as https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues/95261

Nor is it it bug 62699, which is about text being uncopiable in the session chat.

What Should Happen?

The selected text is copied to the clipboard (standard Windows behavior).

Steps to Reproduce

1. In the Claude desktop app, open a session .md file from chat (Claude Code).
2. Leave it in formatted/rendered view mode.
3. Select some text in the rendered document.
4. Copy (Ctrl+C or right-click → Copy).
