What were you trying to do?

I connected Claude Code to GitHub and linked a repository ("myfirstrepository", branch "main"). I later tried to disconnect it, but the connection/repo still appears active in the Claude Code interface.

Steps I've already tried (none resolved it):

  • Disconnected via Claude Settings > Connectors
  • Revoked the Claude GitHub App authorization directly on GitHub (Settings > Applications > Authorized GitHub Apps)
  • Restarted / reloaded the client

Expected behavior: after disconnecting in Claude's settings and revoking on GitHub's side, the repo/branch selector should no longer show the previously connected repository.

Actual behavior: the repo ("myfirstrepository") and branch ("main") still appear in the Claude Code interface as if still connected.

What happened instead?

The repository and branch selector (repo: "myfirstrepository", branch: "main") continue to show as connected in the Claude Code interface, even after:

  • Disconnecting GitHub via Claude Settings > Connectors (the Disconnect button produces no visible change)
  • Revoking the Claude GitHub App's authorization directly on GitHub (Settings > Applications > Authorized GitHub Apps)
  • Restarting/reloading the Claude client

The connection appears "stuck" — there's no way to clear it from either the Claude side or the GitHub side.
