$100 credit not applied after successfully connecting GitHub

What were you trying to do?

I was trying to claim the $100 Claude credit promo that's offered when you connect your GitHub account to Claude on claude.ai (via the GitHub connector page).

What happened instead?

I connected my GitHub account successfully and all checkpoints/steps in the connector flow showed as completed (green), but the $100 credit was never added to my account balance. I've checked my billing/usage page and the credit simply isn't there. This appears to match several other recent reports of the same issue (e.g. issues #96855, #96655, #97079, #96884, #96586, #97140) filed around Sept 24-25, 2026.
