[GitHub integration] Cannot connect any repository — connect flow never completes (desktop)

What were you trying to do?

Connect my GitHub repositories to Claude on the desktop app (Windows 11), from claude.ai/customize/connectors/integration-github.

GitHub itself shows as connected on that page.

What happened instead?

No repository ever connects. GitHub shows as connected, but the repository connection never completes — I end up back on the integration settings page with nothing added, and the only thing offered is the "report a problem" link, which is how I got to this issue form.

I'm a plumbing contractor, not a developer. There is no error message explaining what failed or what I should do differently.

Other connector problems in the same install, in case they're related:

• plugin:productivity:google calendar — fails with "No URL configured for this server"
• plugin:productivity:gmail — fails with "No URL configured for this server"
• Canva, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Zoom, Vanguard Advisor Tools and Anthropic Economic Index sit at "pending" and never finish connecting
• Microsoft 365 dropped mid-session (31 tools disappeared), then reappeared later
• The Chrome extension reads pages but cannot click or type into them: the window reports a zero-size viewport, screenshots come back empty, and clicks silently do nothing

Gmail, Claude Docs, HubSpot and scheduled tasks work fine.

Environment: Claude Code desktop app, Windows 11 Home 10.0.26200.
