Claude in Chrome: `save_to_disk` screenshots produce no file; `resize_window` no-op on maximized windows; no way to activate a tab

Environment: Claude Code desktop app on Windows 11 (Claude Fable 5.1), Claude in Chrome extension, Chrome 141.

  1. mcp__claude-in-chrome__computer with action: "screenshot" and save_to_disk: true returns the image to the

model but no saved path and no file on disk (checked the session folders and Downloads). Same inside
browser_batch. The tool description says a path is returned.

  1. mcp__claude-in-chrome__resize_window returns "Successfully resized window ... to 1400x985" but the window stays

maximized (window.innerWidth still 1920). Resizing only works once the window is restored via the OS.

  1. There is no tool to activate/select a tab in the MCP tab group. navigate/tabs_create_mcp do not bring the tab to

the front, so document.visibilityState stays "hidden".

Why it matters: to obtain PNG screenshots (plugin listing images for wordpress.org) the only working path was an OS-level
screen capture, which requires the tab to be the active tab of a visible window sized precisely; the user cannot use
Chrome meanwhile and has to click the tab manually. Some sites (Google Business Profile "Add update") only render
their forms when the tab is visible, so a "bring tab to front" tool would also unblock those flows.

Expected: save_to_disk writes the debugger-captured PNG (which already works on background tabs) and returns the path;
resize_window restores a maximized window before resizing (or reports that it could not); a tabs_select tool (or an
active: true option on navigate) exists.
