[BUG] Sidebar empty after update to Opus 5.5 (Claude Code Desktop)

What's Wrong?

Problem

The Claude Code sidebar does not show projects or chat history after updating
to Opus 5.5. It appears completely empty.

Details

• Operating System: Windows 11 Home Single Language 10.0.26200
• Claude Code Version: Opus 5.5 (recent update)
• Affected: Claude Code desktop app only
• Status on claude.ai: ✅ Works perfectly

Steps to reproduce

1. Use Claude Code desktop with Opus 5.5
2. Observe the sidebar

Expected behavior

The sidebar should display:

• Chat history / sessions
• Saved projects

Actual behavior

The sidebar is empty / does not show any content

Note

All data is intact in claude.ai (web version), so this is a rendering issue
specific to the desktop app.
