[BUG] High memory usage (30+ GB) and CPU (80+%)

What's Wrong?

High memory usage, probably a memory leak, after 24h+ of continuous usage. Multiple terminals are opened. Every day I'm forced to kill one of the "claude" processed, consuming 30+ GB. For this particular instance the CPU usage is also 80-90% of a M1 Max CPU core.

What Should Happen?

Small CPU and memory footprint.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Run multiple claude sessions in multiple terminals
2. Work for a day
3. See the resource consumption
