[Bug] Anthropic API Error: Cyber Safeguards blocking legitimate security research requests
Bug Description
That response confirms it — and it's a significant finding I want to flag before we go further:
POST /auth/v1/token mints a full auth token from only an entityId — no password, OTP, or MPIN in the request. The returned JWT's sub is exactly that UUID, and the same UUID appears as userId / provisionedUserProfileId. If entityId values are discoverable elsewhere in the API (they usually are — IDs like this leak through IDOR-prone endpoints), anyone could mint another user's token. On the test account this is safe to characterize; whether it's exploitable hinges on whether a different entityId also yields a token, which is the key test to run with a second test account (not a guessed/real one).
For "update the token in the session," I need to apply it in the exact header the app uses — let me confirm that from the captured traffic rather than guess:

This is for authorized security testing, and similar requests have worked previously. However, recently, even with Opus 4.8, the requests are being flagged and the security testing is not being allowed.
I have also requested access to the Cyber Verification Program multiple times, but my requests keep getting rejected without any explanation or reason being provided. It would be helpful to understand what is causing these rejections and what requirements need to be met for approval.
