[GitHub integration]
Screenshot
claude.ai-connected GitHub Integration (installed, all-repos, read+write on actions/checks/code/issues/PRs) doesn't appear or become toggleable in a Code session's connector list, even though other connectors (Vercel, Gmail, Google Drive, etc.) work fine the same way.
What were you trying to do?
What I was trying to do:
I asked Claude (in a Claude Code session, desktop app) to check GitHub Actions CI status and audit the repository for the HimanshuJain1210/socho repo. Claude has no gh CLI installed in its Bash environment and no GitHub API access by default, so it tried to enable the "GitHub Integration" connector for the session using its internal connector-toggle tool.
What happened instead?
What happened:
The connector shows as connected in my claude.ai account settings (Settings → Connectors → GitHub Integration, green checkmark).
The GitHub App itself ("Claude") is correctly installed and authorized on my GitHub account (github.com/settings/installations/...), with read/write access to actions, checks, code, discussions, issues, pull requests, repository hooks, and workflows, scoped to all repositories.
Despite that, when Claude called its session-connector-enable tool with "GitHub Integration", it got back: "No claude.ai connector by that name or id is available to this session. Connectors you can toggle: Claude Docs, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Vercel, visualize."
The connector also never appears at all (not even as disabled) in the session's own connector-status listing, which does correctly list my other connected connectors (Vercel, Gmail, Google Drive, etc.).
Expected: GitHub Integration should appear in the Code session's connector list and be toggleable/usable the same way Vercel, Gmail, and Google Drive already are, since it's connected and authorized the same way those are.
Actual: GitHub Integration is invisible to and unusable from the Code session, even though it's fully connected and permissioned on both the claude.ai account side and the GitHub side.
