[Feature Request] Add option to disable message gray-to-white transition animation

Bug Description
Just updated to 2.1.280, and immediately noticed the messages appearing in gray, only to change to white after 1-3s (I guess it's this change: Added a send-now key (ctrl+enter, or ctrl+x ctrl+s) that interrupts the current turn and sends all queued messages at once; sent and queued messages show in gray until the model receives them). This is incredibly annoying/distracting and I would really appreciate a way to disable it (Talking about the gray to white flicker)
