Problem Statement

When starting a session, the main project directory can be selected from a "recent projects" list. Additional working directories (folders added alongside the main project, e.g. for a second, related repo), however, always require manually browsing through the file explorer — even though in practice it's usually the same one or two folders being added repeatedly.

Proposed Solution

Let the additional-working-directory picker also offer a "recent folders" list (could reuse the same history as the main-project picker, or maintain a separate one), so a frequently-paired folder can be added with one click instead of a full manual navigation each time.

Alternative Solutions

Open the explorer in the same possition als the last time, so navigation is at least faster, currently Explorer always starts on C:\ and I have to navitate to the Folder I used last time

Priority

Medium - Would be very helpful

Feature Category

CLI commands and flags

Use Case Example

Use case: I work across two separate but related repos (a WPF client and its backend service, connected via relative ProjectReferences). Every new session, I pick the client repo as the main project from the recent list, then have to manually navigate to the backend repo folder via Explorer to add it as an additional working directory — even though it's the same folder essentially every time.

My Projekts are under D:\SoftwareDevelopment\... so I need to navigate through the file system
