[BUG] No download/save option when viewing a generated PDF file in the conversation preview panel
Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)

What's Wrong?
Actual behavior:
No download icon is present in the preview panel toolbar.
Right-clicking inside the PDF preview does not surface a "Download" or "Save As" option.
The only way I found to get the file onto disk was to have Claude copy the file directly via a shell command from its working directory to my Desktop — not a discoverable or intended end-user workflow.
Impact:
Users who receive a generated file (PDF or otherwise) and want to save it locally have no obvious, native way to do so from the preview panel itself.

What Should Happen?
A PDF download button should be available in the Claude PDF viewer or image pane
Error Messages/Logs
Steps to Reproduce
Steps to reproduce:
In a Claude Code conversation, have Claude generate a file and send it as a file object in the chat (in this case, a PDF converted from an HTML artifact, delivered via a file-send action).
Click the PDF file object in the conversation to open it in the right-hand preview panel.
The panel shows the file with tabs for .html and .pdf versions at the top left, alongside search, more-options (⋮), expand, and close icons.
Expected behavior:
A standard way to download/save the currently-viewed PDF to local disk — either a dedicated download icon in the toolbar, or a working "Save As" / "Download" option via right-click, consistent with standard browser-based PDF viewers.
