[Feature Request] Git checkout operations should not appear in Bash Diff Tool output or be disabled by default

Bug Description
Git checkout should not show as updates and creates under the Bash Diff Tool or be explcitly disabled by default. These are not file "edits" and hide all of the ACTUAL changes behind a HEAP of file "changes" that are unrelated to the ACTUAL work being done. Please disable this by default or provide an option to do so.
