Bug Description
I PAY $200 A MONTH! I HAVE NEVER USED CLAUDE LESS AND IM AT A WEEKLY LIMIT?!?!? THIS IS INSANE! WHAT HAPPEND TO ONLY 2% OF USERS WOULD HIT THESE IN YOU ANNOCUMENT?!>??!? FIX IT NOW OR LOOSE ALL FAITH WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS, YOU HAVE NOT SAID A WORD ABOUT THIS WHICH JUST MAKES IT WORSE........

Anthropics/Claude may still have my subscription in the future, depending on their actions to solve these issues. But, they lost my respect forever.
I really like claude code , I might be agree with weekly limits policy but, limit consumption is insane, i understand the need to prevent abuse but ... I hope claude is measuring the consumption incorrectly and a fix soon , maybe not a reversal of the policy but weekly consumption calculation is terribly wrong
I started hitting session limits in 40 minutes in a single terminal, and then weekly limits ion the third day.. i cancelled my subscription too, better use chat gpt (the tedious part is pasting just relevant code) I loved the product despite its flaws but im not going to pay for those absurdly limited requests for 40 minutes with sonnet to wait another 5 hours at least, and then hitting limits on the third day...
I also use MAX 20x $200, but I dedicate most of my work to open source code, and I'm also constantly limited in my usage. I have to pay an extra $222 per month according to the API's extra usage plan, and that's not the limit. I think there should be a separate plan for those actively developing open source, because working for the common good and using your own money in such a large amount is just too much.
@AlpSha Yes, but I still took precautions and created my own ecosystem of multi-agents that can use any LLM, but for now I still have to use the Anthropic's API for orchestration.

What's changed: Opus 4.1 consumes significantly more of your weekly usage allocation per message compared to other models. If you're a power user and have been using Opus 4.1, you'll reach your limits much more quickly than you did previously—this is expected platform behavior, not a bug.
How to maximize your usage: We recommend switching to Sonnet 4.5, which now offers:
Better coding performance than Opus 4.1
Much higher usage limits so you can do more
Extended thinking mode for even stronger results (in Claude Code, toggle this with the tab key)
For most workflows, especially coding, Sonnet 4.5 will give you better results and allow you to work longer before hitting limits.

I'm on the $200 plan(subscribed two days ago) and I'm confused about hitting my weekly usage limit already. My usage is limited to the Sonnet model (I don't use Opus) and a maximum of two sessions, and I only use it during my work hours, not 24/7. Could anyone please explain what's happening?
