[Bug] `/context all` no longer lists individual instruction files (regression, 2.1.277)
Bug Description
Through v2.1.273, /context all listed every loaded instruction file (each CLAUDE.md, each .claude/rules/*.md, each @-imported file) as its own row with a token count. On v2.1.277 that section is gone. The output still shows a single summary line ("Memory files: {N} tokens") and still expands the MCP tools, Custom agents and Skills sections, but the per-file instruction breakdown is missing.
The files themselves do load. /memory lists them correctly, and the instructions take effect in the session.
Steps to reproduce
- Open a project that has a
CLAUDE.md, one or more.claude/rules/*.mdfiles, and at least one@import. - Start a session and run
/context all. - Observe the "Memory files" line shows only a token total. No per-file rows appear in the breakdown.
- Run
/memoryand observe the same files are listed as loaded.
Expected
/context all shows the per-file breakdown for instruction files, as it did through v2.1.273 and as it still does for MCP tools, agents and skills.
Actual
Only the summary line appears. The per-file rows are absent in both renderers.
Notes
- Reproduced with both
"tui": "fullscreen"and"tui": "default"(switched via/tui defaultand/tui fullscreen). - No entry in the CHANGELOG for v2.1.274 through v2.1.277 mentions a change to
/context, so this appears to be unannounced. - #94858 (and earlier #64996) asked for a more compact default
/contextwhile keeping/context allas the full listing. What shipped collapses the instruction-file section even underall, which goes further than those requests. This may be a side effect of that compaction work.
