Desktop app update wiped local scheduled tasks and session list (claude.ai web still shows them)

After a recent Claude Code desktop app update, two things disappeared locally, while claude.ai (web) still shows them intact:

Environment

  • App: Claude desktop app 2.110.0 (macOS)
  • OS: macOS 26.7 (Build 25G229)

1. Scheduled tasks / Routines

  • I had two recurring scheduled tasks set up (LinkedIn-related Claude skills run on a schedule).
  • list_scheduled_tasks now returns no scheduled tasks.
  • The cloud routine/trigger API (/v1/code/triggers, "Routines" in the sidebar) also returns an empty list.
  • No disabled/leftover entry exists in either place — they're just gone, not paused.

2. Session list

  • The desktop app's session list (sidebar) shows no other sessions — active or archived.
  • claude.ai (web app), logged into the same account, still shows the full session history.

Expected: Scheduled tasks and sessions created before the update should still be present after updating, or at minimum should be consistently visible across the desktop app and claude.ai web for the same account.

Actual: Desktop app shows an empty state for both; web app shows the pre-update data.

Impact: Looks like a local-state migration issue introduced by the update rather than actual server-side deletion, since the data still exists and is visible via claude.ai. Filing in case others hit this and to get visibility on whether local data is recoverable.
