What's Wrong?

/memory command missing from slash-command autocomplete
Description Typing /memory in the chat input does not show it as an available command in autocomplete, so it cannot be invoked. Initially it appeared that autocomplete was substituting a different command (one of the anthropic-skills:*-memory skills, e.g. consolidate-memory or import-memory), but after testing in a completely fresh project window with a different set of available skills, the same issue reproduced — /memory still does not appear in the autocomplete list at all.

Steps to reproduce

Open Claude Code (desktop app, Code tab)
In the chat input, start typing /memory
Observe the autocomplete suggestions
Expected behavior /memory appears as a selectable command in autocomplete (understood to be a built-in command for viewing/editing project memory, e.g. CLAUDE.md).

Actual behavior /memory does not appear in the autocomplete list, so it cannot be run.

Environment

Claude Code: desktop app, Code tab
Claude Code version: 1.52386.6 (612f3f), 2026-09-13T00:45:40.000Z
OS: macOS 26.6.2 (build 25G83)
Additional notes

Reproduced in two different project directories/windows, with different available skills in each, so this does not appear to be project- or skill-configuration-specific.

What Should Happen?

I would expect /memory to be available as a command in the autocomplete list
