Active file tag ("In <filename>") stuck in Cursor terminal prompt after closing tab

Running Claude Code v2.1.270 in Cursor's terminal on macOS.
When a file is opened, the prompt shows > ◫ In <filename>. But after closing the tab, the filename tag remains stuck in the prompt and can't be removed — backspace doesn't delete it, and running /clear doesn't clear it either.
