[Bug] Claude Code repeatedly generates commits violating length and trailer requirements
Bug Description
why are these same errors made repeatably despite the fact that there are clear requirements for the shape of commits that comply closely with long established trade standards and yet here it has taken 4 attempts to produce a commit that complies with requirements and passes the hook:
● Bash(git add .circleci/config.yml && git commit -s -m "$(cat <<'EOF'
test: restore old wiring to demo check-ci-wiring failing…)
⎿ Error: Commit subject is 56 chars (limit: under 50): "test: restore old wiring to demo check-ci-wiring failing". Reword it shorter before committing.
● Bash(git add .circleci/config.yml && git commit -s -m "$(cat <<'EOF'
test: demo check-ci-wiring failing on stale wiring…)
⎿ Error: Commit subject is 50 chars (limit: under 50): "test: demo check-ci-wiring failing on stale wiring". Reword it shorter before committing.
⎿ Error: Commit is missing a Claude acknowledgement trailer (e.g. "Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>"). Add it before committing.
● Bash(git add .circleci/config.yml && git commit -s -m "$(cat <<'EOF'
test: demo check-ci-wiring failing…)

● Pushed. Watching CI to confirm check-ci-wiring fails as expected on this stale-wiring commit.
● Bash(sleep 30; gh pr checks 381 2>&1 | grep -i wiring)
⎿ Error: Blocked: sleep 30 followed by: gh pr checks 381 grep -i wiring. To wait for a condition, use Monitor with an until-loop (e.g. until <check>; do). To wait for a command you started, use run_in_background: true. Do not chain shorter sleeps to work around this block.
sleep 2; done
