[Bug] Auto-approve not working reliably for bash file edits in automode

Bug Description
Claude commonly requests to make file edits via bash when in automode, but they still require manual approval (note, they didn't used to... this only seems to happen after a recent update). In other words, when in automode, the agent is asking permission to make regular edits to files via bash. I have to instruct it to use the Read/Write/Edit tools in order to avoid perpetually having to approve its requests. This seems to defeat the purpose of automode...
