Bug Description
Resume-from-summary picker never appears, even when idle/token thresholds are clearly exceeded When resuming a session idle >1h with a large context, Claude Code used to show a picker offering "Resume from summary" vs "Resume full session as-is." It no longer appears for me at all — tested on a session that was 5h idle with 177k tokens in context (well past the ~70min/100k defaults), and no picker showed. - autoCompactEnabled is false in my config, but that setting is unrelated to this dialog. - resumeReturnDismissed is not set in ~/.claude.json, so I never dismissed it permanently. - This points to the tengu_gleaming_fair / tengu_gleaming_fair_reuse feature gate being off for my account, which suppresses the dialog unconditionally regardless of idle time or token count. Version: 2.1.266 (terminal CLI, installed at ~/.local/share/claude/versions/2.1.266) Expected: picker shows when idle time and token thresholds are exceeded (as documented behavior). Actual: picker never shows, session resumes in full every time.
