VSCode extension has no sound/notification path — preferredNotifChannel is a no-op there

Running Claude Code as the VSCode extension (not the CLI), preferredNotifChannel (terminal_bell, iterm2, etc.) has no effect — these are terminal-emulator-specific and there's no fallback for the IDE context. Checked the extension's own package.json: it declares no notification/sound setting of its own either. So there's currently no way to get an audible or OS-level notification when a turn finishes inside VS Code, only the extension's own (silent) showInformationMessage popup.

Worked around it locally with a Stop hook running afplay — works, but a real per-environment fallback (or at least a documented VSCode-specific setting) would be nicer than everyone discovering this the hard way.

Environment: macOS, VS Code extension v2.1.263.
