What's Wrong?

When claude code tries to auth against AWS, it attempts to open a browser. For _reasons_, sometimes that fails. The provided URL is wrapped in some UI framework such that the URL cannot be properly copied. I've masted out the URLs but this demonstrates the problem:

<img width="1551" height="339" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/ae481489-56be-4e04-8d29-0b39b5701988" />

<img width="1551" height="247" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/412af109-6f0a-4830-9287-0ab997756d8a" />

Note that because of the line wrap the copied URL is broken.

What Should Happen?

While the blue cage around the Authentication notification is nice, it is disruptive. Raw text would be nicer to deal with (or if the UI framework can constrain selection/copy/paste to within the blue box).

Steps to Reproduce

Best way I could do this was:

  • Auth against AWS
  • Fire up claude
  • Drop ~/.aws/{sso,cli}
  • Wait for claude's session to expire
  • Fire up an incognito or otherwise unauth'd browser so the login doesn't just work (or get on a headless machine)
  • Give claude a prompt so it tries to reauth
