[Feature Request] Add collapsible tool output display with settings option for multi-agent sessions
Bug Description
Feature request: collapse tool call output by default, expand on demand
In multi-agent sessions the terminal fills with Bash / WebFetch / WebSearch calls and their results, and the actual conversation becomes hard to find. There's currently no setting, keybinding or flag to hide or collapse tool output.
Two things that would fix it:
A settings.json option (e.g. collapseToolOutput) to render tool calls as a one-line summary by default, with a keybinding to expand one, or all.
A separate control for subagent output. When several subagents run in parallel, most of the noise is theirs — the main thread's calls are usually the ones worth seeing.
Nothing would be lost: tool output is already persisted to the session transcript, so a collapsed view is purely a display choice.
