Bug Description
v2.0.9 seems to have removed thinking transcript again. It was showing though no longer detailed but still showing in 2.0.8. Please fix this as I no longer can see/know what sonnet 4.5 is doing, hence unable to interject it with prompts in between todos

I wrote a simple script that toggles the expanded thinking traces by default until Anthropic patches this (will maintain it for the latest claude-code version, since I use it for myself):

Hit ctrl+o to see detailed thinking.
that's not really the point... we want an option to toggle it on similar to verbose mode, you can't hit ctrl+o for every single detailed thinking step that happens, it would be disruptive to the workflow.
I could potentially patch it and expand the script to have it be configurable by an env variable as it seems like this change gets requested quite a lot...
Consider requesting this as an official feature:
