Message sent before session start silently disappears, no response (Claude Code Remote Control via Android app) — recurring, ~10 occurrences
Environment:
- Claude Code version: 2.1.241
- Host OS: Linux 6.8.0-137-generic
- Interface: Claude Code Remote Control, controlled remotely from Claude app on Android
- Phone: Samsung A55, Claude Android app version 1.260826.0 (26082600), latest update
Description:
I sent a message to Claude Code from the Claude Android app via Remote Control at the start of a session. Nothing happened — no response was generated, and the message itself disappeared from view. The next message I sent ("hello?") went through normally and was answered, but the assistant had no record of my first message ever being sent.
This is not the first time — I have hit this bug almost 10 times. It appears to recur specifically around session start when connecting via Remote Control from the Android app.
Steps to reproduce:
- Connected to a Claude Code session via Remote Control from the Claude Android app (Samsung A55)
- Typed a message
- Sent it
- Message vanished, no reply appeared
- Sent a second message ("hello?"), which worked fine
Expected behavior:
The message should either be sent and answered, or fail visibly (error/retry), not disappear silently.
Actual behavior:
Message vanished with no error, no response, and no trace in the conversation history — this has happened roughly 10 times, always tied to Remote Control sessions from the Android app.
