Claude is saying I've reached a limit for more than 12 hours now. What's going on?

In Claude Settings page on the website it shows my limit would reset only on Thursday (it's Tuesday now).
Same issue here but for opus i barely worked with it!

Well I just realized there's both a daily limit and a weekly limit. Why there would be a weekly limit that's less than the (daily limit) x 7 - is a bit odd, it makes the daily limit irrelevant if you reach it every day.
there should be more transparency on usage limits! they have definitely been reduced
Let’s be honest: The weekly usage limit system has made paid plans practically unusable.
I am paying, but I cannot use the service.
This is not “Fair access.”
This is customer punishment.
If the goal was to stop account sharing → why are legitimate single-user accounts being throttled?
Upgrading to Max x5 or Max x20 does NOT increase real usage.
Reset times are inconsistent and not transparent.
Users are being cut off mid-project, mid-work-week.
This isn’t an improvement.
It’s bait-and-switch pricing with artificial scarcity.
And here’s the real consequence:
If this continues,
Users will cancel, not “wait it out.”
Professionals will move to ChatGPT, Gemini, and open-source models.
Claude goes from “the best model available” to “the model nobody can actually use.”
We are paying customers, not abusers.
Stop restricting legitimate usage.

I also experience the same issue from several weeks the weekly limit exceed for 3-4 days before it exceeds after 6-7 days. So it depletes 2 times faster and the usage is the same or less. I am using now Default Sonnet 4.5 model and cloude code integration to intelliJ.
Same here. It's absolutely not transparent so I am not sure if this is correct but it looks to me like they allowed extra time over the days around New Year's but only for the daily limit not for the weekly. Which means I have now run out of tokens for days.
I absolutely agree... Users will cancel. I know I have. Which is sad because ChatGPT is completely useless as of late and Claude is a rip-off. How is this even legal?
AI chatbots were absolutely great and helped me do quite a few projects I couldn't have done without. It's a huge blow that these times are over now...
