Desktop: 'Auto mode is now the default permission mode' announcement banner cannot be dismissed and stays in view

Description

On the Claude Code desktop app (Windows 11, 2.1.x), the in-transcript product announcement:

自動モードはClaude Codeのデフォルトの権限モードになりました。(Auto mode is now the default permission mode...)

remains visible in the conversation area with no visible dismiss (×) control. The user reports it stays in front of them and gets in the way while working ('いつまで経っても目の前にあって邪魔').

Expected

• A dismiss control on announcement banners, or
• Auto-collapse after first view / after the next user message, or
• A setting to suppress release announcements.

Environment

• Claude Code desktop app on Windows 11 Pro
• Japanese locale UI
• Reported on behalf of an end user (dental clinic operations).
