Description:

The Claude in Chrome extension side panel gets stuck in a permanent sign-in loop and cannot be used.

Steps to reproduce:

Extension side panel shows "You're signed into claude.ai as a different account" (panel account vs. extension account mismatch).
Click "Sign in to continue" inside the side panel.
Panel attempts to load the sign-in page in an embedded frame.
Panel displays: "claude.ai refused to connect."

This happens even after:

Fully logging out of all devices on the claude.ai account and signing back in fresh (confirmed working — claude.ai in a normal browser tab authenticates correctly as the business account).
Fully removing and reinstalling the Claude Chrome extension.
Quitting and relaunching Chrome entirely.

The regular claude.ai website works perfectly in a normal tab under the same account the whole time — only the side panel's embedded re-auth screen fails. This looks like the panel's sign-in iframe is hitting claude.ai's own frame-embedding protection (X-Frame-Options / CSP frame-ancestors), which blocks it from ever completing.

Environment: macOS, Chrome, Claude in Chrome extension (beta), account is part of a Team/Enterprise org with multiple workspaces (Personal + Team) under one login.

Just paste that in and hit submit — you're done for tonight. In the meantime, claude.ai in a regular tab works fine for everything you need.
