AskUserQuestion never times out while the terminal is focused

When I step away I usually leave the terminal window focused, and the question sits there until I get back. If I remember to click into another window first, it times out and the session carries on without me. So the auto-proceed works everywhere except the one situation it was built for.

Focus is not presence. Most times I walk off the window is still focused, and unfocusing is something I have to remember to do for no reason other than this.

Version 2.1.233, macOS, iTerm2.

Related but pointing the other way: #73393, #73621 and a dozen more want the 60s auto-proceed longer or gone. Mine never fires.
