[BUG] Clicking "New" in sidebar doesn't open a clean/blank session

What's Wrong?

Bug description
Clicking the "Novo" (New) button in the left sidebar of Claude Code on the web does not open a new, blank session/tab. Instead, the interface stays on the currently open conversation.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open an existing conversation/session in Claude Code on the web (claude.ai/code).
2. Click "Novo" in the left sidebar.
3. Expected: a new, empty session/tab opens.
4. Actual: the view remains on the previous conversation ("Nossos projetos" in my case); no new blank session appears.

Environment

• Interface: Claude Code on the web (claude.ai/code)
• Behavior is consistent/reproducible (happened repeatedly)

Additional context
Reloading the page and checking "Recentes" in the sidebar did not surface a new session either — the click on "Novo" appears to have no visible effect.

What Should Happen?

Clicking "New" (Novo) in the left sidebar should open a new, blank/empty session.

Error Messages/Logs

The interface stays on the currently open conversation instead of opening a new session. No blank tab or new session appears, even after reloading the page and checking "Recentes" in the sidebar.
