[BUG] Vim-mode: no undo

Environment

• [X] Anthropic API
• Claude CLI version: 0.2.79 (Claude Code)
• Operating System: macos 14.6.1
• Terminal: iTerm2

Bug Description

When deleting a line, I cannot hit "u" to undo. Separate from the "yank" issue.

Steps to Reproduce

type a line, or several
hit dd to delete in vim mode
hit u to undo

Expected Behavior

The delete is undone

Actual Behavior

Nothing
