Session transcript renders blank/garbled on first open of the day

Frequency: ~5x/day, most often the first (sometimes second) time I open a session each day
Description:
When opening an existing background/cloud session — regardless of its state (completed, working, or needs-input) — the conversation transcript pane sometimes fails to render properly. Instead of the actual message content, the pane shows mostly blank white space with only a few stray, disconnected text fragments visible (e.g. single letters or partial words floating in otherwise empty areas). The window title bar and result banner at the bottom load correctly and show accurate session info — only the transcript body itself is affected.
Workaround: Navigate back to the main sessions list, then re-select the same session. It reliably loads correctly on the second attempt.
Impact: Happens multiple times daily, most disruptive when checking overnight/background job results first thing — have to leave and re-enter the session every time to actually read it.
Evidence: Screenshot attached below — shows a completed session ("claude bg-spare", title "linkedin outreach recruitment") with a valid result: line at the bottom, but the transcript above it is blank apart from a few orphaned characters ("k", "co", "sed. e").
Environment:
- Platform: cloud/background terminal session view
- macOS (Darwin 24.6.0), window manager visible in title bar
