What's Wrong?

Cowork tab shows "Missing HCS services: vfpext" and cannot be clicked.

OS: Windows 11 Pro Build 26200.8875

Steps tried:

  • Enabled Hyper-V via DISM
  • Set bcdedit hypervisorlaunchtype auto
  • Restarted multiple times
  • Issue persists after all steps

  1. Open Claude Desktop on Windows 11 Pro
  2. Click on Cowork tab
  3. Tooltip shows "Missing HCS services: vfpext"
  4. Cowork tab is disabled and cannot be clicked
