On Claude Code 2.1.222 (macOS, terminal and Cursor-embedded), gateway sign-in completed successfully server-side (session.mint logged, credential stored, subsequent requests work) but the CLI hung at the "press Enter to continue" screen — 2 out of 2 attempts on one machine, different terminals. Workaround: Ctrl-C and restart claude; the session is present. Cosmetic, but every new user hits it during onboarding and reasonably concludes login failed.
