[Bug] Summary text obscured by background task completion banner

Bug Description
A couple of times today a command got
moved to the background, and when its completion notification fired, my follow-up summary
rendered in that same turn — which in the client can end up visually buried under the
"background task finished" banner. The text is being generated (you can scroll back and it
should be there), but it's easy to miss — that's a client rendering quirk, not something I
can fix from in here.
