▎ Chrome extension (v1.0.84, latest) never attempts to connect via the com.anthropic.claude_code_browser_extension native messaging host, even after fully quitting Claude Desktop app and reloading the extension. Only com.anthropic.claude_browser_extension (Desktop) host gets spawned, and only while Desktop app is running. Both native messaging manifests are correctly registered in ~/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/NativeMessagingHosts/. macOS, Chrome, extension installed in a secondary profile.
