[Feature Request] Add safety mechanisms to prevent silent data corruption from model changes
Bug Description
---
Subject: Request for account credit — wasted usage from model errors (Claude Code)
Hello,
I'm writing to request a credit for a significant amount of time and usage lost to errors made by Claude Code in a recent session.
I'm a paying user running a self-hosted project through Claude Code. In an earlier session, the model made a round of changes that quietly corrupted my application's data and logic rather than fixing the intended feature. Specifically:
- The board-game "alpha" classification system was broken so that a scan mislabeled ~150 released games as something they weren't, corrupting the dataset.
- A game-ca garbageentry into my database instead of logging the
real game.
- Several UI areas (recent-games list, missing
cover art aken.
I didn't diamage untila later session, at which point it took
considerabl to diagnose and repair everything — time and cost that
should not e originalchanges been done correctly.
I understand models aren't perfect, but the net
effect was ted usagecleaning up work that introduced regressions. I'd
appreciate ost time.
I'm happy tor logs ifhelpful. Thank you for considering this.
Best regards,
