[FEATURE] Become a LinkedIn "Connected Apps" partner to showcase Claude Code usage on profiles

Problem Statement

LinkedIn launched an expanded "Connected Apps" profile section (announced June 17, 2026) where a curated catalog of partner tools can display partner-validated proof of how a professional actually uses them — real usage evidence rather than self-declared skills. Developer tools are already onboarded: JetBrains IDEs (IntelliJ, CLion), Wispr Flow, Base44, and others appear in the "Add connected app" catalog. Claude Code is a daily-driver tool for a large and growing community of developers, but there's currently no way for a developer to surface "I build with Claude Code" as validated capability on their LinkedIn profile.

Proposed Solution

Anthropic joins LinkedIn's partner program for Connected Apps and ships the integration so that:

• Claude Code appears in LinkedIn's "Add connected app" catalog under the developer-tools/IDE category.
• After a user adds it and authenticates (OAuth), Claude Code reports a usage-based "capabilities" summary (e.g. "Uses Claude Code to write, review, and refactor code across projects, drive agentic workflows, and automate dev tasks in the terminal and IDE").
• The summary stays in sync automatically, consistent with how other partners (e.g. Wispr Flow) populate the "Capabilities" block.

Alternative Solutions

• Issue #65999 previously proposed shareable "LinkedIn-ready" achievement badges — a manual, screenshot-style workaround rather than a native, validated integration.
• Today users can only add a free-text "Claude Code" skill to their profile, with no validation.
